Expansion continues with new management: Michael Sendermann strengthens Kaschwig Schallschutz
Sendenhorst, April 13, 2022
Since mid-March, Michael Sendermann has strengthened the management of R. Kaschwig Schallschutztechnik GmbH. For the time being, he performs this function together with Andreas Kaschwig, who will retire from the operative business in the medium term after about 30 years. The new managing director has ambitious plans for the future of the innovative manufacturer of sound insulation and occupational safety products. The main goals are the expansion into new markets, the expansion of the Sendenhorst site and the positioning as an attractive employer to counteract the shortage of skilled workers.
“The requirements in the field of noise, occupational health and safety and environmental protection are constantly increasing,” explains Sendermann. “With over 40 years of experience in developing innovative solutions, Kaschwig Schallschutz is a reliable partner to meet these growing challenges.” The company has established itself as a leading supplier of noise protection in a wide range of industrial applications with SONOLIT®, a modular and easy-to-assemble system series. Individual solutions in the field of occupational safety are added under the brand name PROTOLIT. Customers benefit from a high level of innovation, maximum flexibility, pronounced cost-effectiveness and extended service life, as Kaschwig products can be easily modified and adapted to new requirements.
The signs are pointing to a new dawn
“Qualified employees, modern machinery and outstanding products of the highest quality – Kaschwig offers ideal conditions for becoming a leading supplier of soundproofing and occupational safety in the international environment as well,” explains Sendermann. His assessment is no coincidence: most recently, he gained a wide range of experience working for many years in a medium-sized, owner-managed mechanical engineering company in a managerial position in the areas of sales, marketing and export.
Looking ahead, Sendermann is responding to a key challenge facing many companies: the omnipresent shortage of skilled workers. “Exciting tasks, professional and personal opportunities for further development and a pleasant, family-like working atmosphere – we are an attractive employer and would like to confidently show this to the outside world in the future,” says Sendermann. Another goal for him is the further expansion of the location in order to further advance the competitiveness of the company.
Long-time Managing Director Andreas Kaschwig on his successor: “With Mr. Michael Sendermann, we have been able to win over an internationally experienced personality based in our region who will bring valuable impulses for the further development of the company.”
